  • The article presents the lastest development of Geographic Information System(GIS) and pointsout that the technology of GIS has nowattained a rather high level,and is no longer the most important restrict factorin most fields.Based on the review andanalysis of several typical case,the main problem and trend in application of GIS in regional water environmental fieldis pointed out by the author.
