Water-Saving Mechanism and Research advances in the Control Root-Splited Alternative lrrigation

In the paper,the new water-saving irrigation method which was named the control root-splited alternative irrigation is introduced.Its conception and saving-water mechanism is discussed.Its research history and status at home and abroad are summarized.The problem existed in application of the method to the field and its developing direction is presented.
