溃坝洪水经过部分溃决坝体的演进规律

Research on the propagation of floods passing through partially breached dam

  • 摘要: 梯级溃坝洪水一旦发生将对下游地区造成毁灭性的灾难,当前混凝土坝的梯级溃决洪水研究中对坝体局部溃决情景的关注较少。本研究采用室内大型水槽试验和理论分析相结合的方法,对溃坝洪水经过垂向部分溃决坝体的演进规律开展了研究。结果表明:第二级大坝在上游溃坝洪水作用下垂向局部溃决后,其库区会形成涨水负波或降水负波,进而影响上游水深过程;涌浪波对下游坝面的压力荷载会呈现出周期性的震荡特点,破碎波对下游坝面的峰值荷载更大,而后迅速降低;建立的溃坝洪水对下游大坝作用荷载简化计算方法,该方法与试验值吻合较好;当第二级坝的垂向溃决高度小于0.2倍坝高时,表现为阻滞效应;当其大于0.2倍坝高时,则表现为激励效应。本文研究成果可为梯级溃坝洪水灾害风险评估提供参考。

     

    Abstract: The occurrence of cascading dam-break floods can lead to devastating disasters in downstream areas. Current research on cascading dam-break floods of concrete dams has not focused on scenarios involving partial breaches of the dam. This study employed a combination of large-scale flume experiments and theoretical analysis to investigate the propagation mechanisms of dam-break floods passing through vertically partially breached dam structures. The results indicate that after the vertical partial breach of a second dam under the impact of an upstream dam-break flood, either a rising negative wave or a falling negative wave forms in its reservoir, thereby influencing the upstream flow depth hydrograph. The pressure load exerted by the undular wave on the downstream dam exhibits periodic oscillations, with the peak load from the bore waves being greater but rapidly decreasing thereafter. A simplified calculation method for the load exerted by dam-break floods on downstream dams was established, and the results agreed well with the experimental values. When the vertical breach height of the second dam is less than 0.2 times the dam height, it has a blocking effect; when it exceeds 0.2 times the dam height, it has an incentivizing effect. The findings of this study hold significant importance for the assessment of cascading dam-break flood disasters.
