A Preliminary Study on the Process About the Influence of Antarctic Sea Ice on the Northwest Pacific Subtropical High

  • 摘要: 通过相关分析,揭示了南极海冰影响西北太平洋副热带高压的可能途径,以及南太平洋副高在其间所起的重要作用.认为海冰影响大气环流的实质在于它改变了经向热量交换的强度以适应南极地区大气热损失总量的变动,其作用在于维持整个极冰-海洋-大气系统的平衡.计算了南半球48°S以北地区低层大气中的平均经向热量交换,证实了上述推论.

     

    Abstract: Based on the results of correlation analysis, the possible processes about the influence of the Antarctic sea ice on the Northwest Pacific subtropical high are revea.led. The essence of these processes lies in adapting the intensity of meridional heat exchange to the fluctuation of Hl(total heat loss of atmosphere in the Antarctic region), so that the balance of the sea ice-ocean-atmosphere system can be kept. The meridional heat exchanges of lower atmosphere in the region north of 48°S in the southern hemisphere are also calculated to confirm above inference.
