A New Turbulent Model and Its Applications

  • 摘要: 采用修正κ-ε模型封闭Reynolds方程作为紊流控制方程,引入通度概念处理曲面不规则边界、用VOF法追踪自由表面,分别对水利工程中重力坝溢流、水跃、绕丁坝水流及岸边的波浪运动等几个典型算例进行数值模拟,并分别与实测资料进行比较,结果均得到了较好的验证。

     

    Abstract: To solve the problems of irregular boundaries and free surfaces in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics),a modified κ-ε turbulence model is derived,and the governing equations of turbulent flow over irregular boundary are developed by analyzing the solid-liquid two-phase theoretical flow model.And furthermore a partial-cell parameter is introduced to treat irregular boundary.To track free surfaces,a simple but powerfule method is described that is based on the concept of fractional volume of fluid (VOF).By using the established computer code,several typical examples in hydraulic engineering are studied numerically,the results of which are in agreement with experimental data.
