A Review of Shallow-Water Hydrodynamics and Some Contemporary Problems

Since the 1950s computer modelling of water flows which satisfy approximately shallow-water conditions,has been greatly influenced by gas dynamics in many aspects,so that the formation of both theoretical and computational shallow-water hydrodynamics has been promoted during the end of this century.
