Abstract: Based on the discussion on the moving characteristics,the hydrochemical process and the pollution sources of the municipal slow-flow water bodies,this paper proposed some countermeasures to preserve municipal slow-flow water bodies,such as the establishment of a scientific nanagement system of municipal water affairs,the combination of the municipal water engineering with the ecological engineering,the full use of the function of water engineering in the protection of municipal water bodyes and the perfect integrated ways of controlling the storm and sewage.
