堰塞湖库容对溃决过程影响试验研究

Experimental study on the effects of barrier lake storage capacity on the breach process

  • 摘要: 针对现有试验中库容不足导致所呈现的溃决过程与实际存在较大偏差的问题,通过开展3种不同库容的大尺度堰塞坝溃决物理试验,研究堰塞湖库容对漫溢溃决过程的影响。结果表明:①在不同库容条件下,坝体漫溢溃决过程的典型阶段具有一致性,溃决流量过程也较为相似,但峰值大小及峰现时间存在差异,库容增加1倍,峰值流量增加118.8%,库容增加2倍,峰值流量增加271.0%。②在来流一定时,上游库容越大,水位上升速度越慢,溃决洪水快速起涨阶段出现时间越晚;而水流对坝体的冲蚀作用越强,快速发展阶段溃口横向展宽速率越快;溃口峰值流量越大,溃口流量变化越剧烈,流量过程曲线越“尖瘦”。③溃口平面呈喇叭形,上游库容对溃口宽度最窄处位置基本无影响,但对最终溃口宽度影响明显,库容越大,溃口宽度越大。

     

    Abstract: In previous experiments, insufficient reservoir capacities have led to significant deviations between the presented breach process and the actual situations. To address this issue, large-scale physical experiments were conducted on the breach of landslide dams with three different reservoir capacities to study the effects of barrier lake storage capacity on the overtopping breach process. The results show the following: ① Under different reservoir capacity conditions, the typical stages of the dam overtopping breach process are consistent, and the breach discharge hydrographs also show relatively similar patterns. However, there are differences in peak magnitudes and peak occurrence times. When the reservoir capacity is doubled, the peak discharge increases by 118.8%, and when tripled, the peak discharge increases by 271.0%. ②Under constant impounded water conditions, when the upstream reservoir capacity is larger, the water level rises more slowly and the rapid initial rise phase of the breach flood occurs later. Moreover, when the erosive action of the water flow on the dam is stronger, the lateral widening rate of the breach during the rapid development stage is faster. In addition, a larger peak discharge at the breach is associated with more drastic variations in the discharge, as well as with sharper and narrower hydrograph curves. ③ The breach plane exhibits a trumpet-shaped form. While the upstream reservoir capacity has little effect on the location of the breach's narrowest section, it significantly impacts the final breach width: the larger the reservoir capacity, the greater the breach width.
